We signed Kayden up for the reading program at the library. He was so excited to put a sticker on his paper after we had read together every night. He read for 30 days and got a medal and got "book bucks" to pick out 3 books from the bookstore. I love that he loves to read with me, and he is getting pretty good at reading himself.

 This boy couldn't be more excited for Kindergarten to start. He has been ready for a long time. Its been hard being 5 since October. He wanted to go right away after his preschool was out for summer. Pretty much every day he asks me how many days are left until school, and every time we drive by his school he gets super excited. We made a paper chain together so he didn't have to ask me how many days are left (even though he still does). That day couldn't come faster for him... or slower for me...I'm not sure I'm ready to send him out into the world yet!!
