When it rains here in Vegas it POURS!! And our street and surrounding areas become a river of sorts. It poured yesterday and we opened the front door to watch it. My kids couldn't stand not to play in it. At first I said no because I didn't want to have to chase Brooklyn all over the place...but then quickly changed my mind when I realized I just needed to sit back and let them be kids and experience opportunities like this that don't come around every day. Who doesn't love to go out and jump in puddles...especially in their diaper. They had a blast and were completely soaked. The cold water didn't faze them at all! They lasted about 30 minutes and then we all came indoors and had a nice hot shower.

I use to LOVE to play in the rain and gutter when I was little.
I would love to let my girls go outside and play in the rain, but we seem to never get rain. I don't think its rained once all summer.
