This little boy has been waiting for this day for A LONG time!! Me not so much. Kayden started Kindergarten this morning. He finally got to pull the last link to his chain off. He was up at 6:30 dressed, bed made, teeth brushed and his shoes on all before I could get out of bed. I was so glad that he was so excited to go. It's also so nice to have him back into a routine and having something to do besides bug his little sister. I have been dreading this day for years because I just really don't ever want him to be exposed to the filth out there. I feel like I can't control at all now what he hears and sees, whereas when he was home I could regulate that more. I knew it would come but I was glad that he pretty much had an extra year at home before he went to school (he turns six in October and misses the cutoff).
Brooklyn pretty much has to do whatever big brother is doing so she was right in there wanting to take some pictures too. I love how she is looking at him in this picture!
Kayden has some friends in his class. He gets to sit right next to his friend Justin. He is our neighbor just two doors down.
Brooklyn went right into Kayden's class and found a chair to sit down in. She was so cute in wanting to do everything like Kayden.
Here's to an awesome year of Kindergarten!!
