We moved to Rock Springs almost 4 years ago to the date (April 30th our Anniversary...the best present ever!) I'll be honest, I never wanted to move to Wyoming. We moved away from family and it was SO cold and windy and not very pretty to look at. It took me a REALLY LONG time to like Rock Springs. I told Brock I only wanted to live there for 2 years max. Our plans were to move back east for a little while and then come back and settle in the west somewhere. But then we started making friends...our ward was so small it really wasn't hard. We moved in not knowing anyone and now 4 years later look what we left behind...
What were we thinking??? I absolutely LOVE the people in Rock Springs and am so sad that we left!! We have so many wonderful friends. Friends who we have laughed with and cried with, and have done so many fun things with. Friends who have been with us through the hardest time of our life with the passing of Tyler. Since we lived so far away from our family our friends became our family. There truly isn't another ward like our ward in Rock Springs. We knew our time was up in Rock Springs for awhile and when Brock came to me and said lets move to Nevada I knew we needed to, but I wasn't too excited. I know we will make new friends here (and we have already started to) but it was so hard to leave the ones we had.
Thanks everyone for making our time in Rock Springs the best!! It sure was hard to say goodbye! We sure will miss you!!

You guys will be missed tons!! Saying goodbye sucks but at least we can check out each others lives on Blogs and stay in touch through texting.
We were totally surprised how much we missed Rock Springs too!!! Good luck in Vegas :)
It was hard to see you go and we will miss you terribly! We feel a little jipped, like we were supposed to have more time with you...but the important thing is to stay in touch, so let's do it!!
We miss you too and it sucks that we started hanging out when you were about to move, but I am so happy to call you my friend, even if it was for a little while! Keep in touch!!!
