We have been living in Las Vegas for 2 months in a lovely hotel so we were really excited to go home and move our stuff. We jam packed our 4 days (which ended up being 6 days since the movers didn't show). First we spent the night in Salt Lake and met our adorable new nephew. Of course I didn't get any pictures. It was so fun hanging out just like it always is. We drove home Saturday to find ourselves in the lovely cold snowy weather that we were not missing at all! We got to enjoy "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels", church & saying goodbye to a lot of our friends, dinner with the Stembridge family, lunch with the CDC gang (Tyler's therapists), a fun goodbye party with lots of friends (Thanks Jen and Melinda), Relief Society luncheon, playgroup, craft night, cowboy donuts, and so much more. Kayden got to go to preschool and say goodbye to all of his friends, and I got to be taught how to make adorable baby blankets by Jen. We sure were exhausted when we pulled out of our driveway on Thursday morning, but we had tons of fun and it was all well worth it. I really wasn't complaining that the movers didn't come as scheduled...I got to spend more time with friends! We still own our home in Rock Springs so I like to think of that as our summer home :) and maybe just maybe we can go back and visit!
Kayden really wanted to help the movers. I had to send him away for a little while because he kept getting in the way. He loved being able to climb up into that big truck.
