I didn't want to be stuck at a hotel for 6 weeks straight so the kids and I took a little trip up to my parents house for a few weeks. It is about an 8 hour drive from Vegas. Luckily we have family about halfway so we drove halfway and spent the night and then went the rest of the way. Kayden doesn't get to see these cousins very often so he was really excited. Brooklyn got loved on by Kyle and Gavin so she loved the attention. We are exited that we live closer to them so we can hopefully see them more often. Thanks Walkers!

Kayden asked over and over to go to the beach so we broke down and took him one day. He loved it and didn't want to leave. This was Brooklyn's first time to the beach...she wasn't too impressed

My younger sister got this game called "Splat" for christmas one year when we were little. To play you make Playdoh bugs and then splat them. I hadn't played this game in over 15 years so it was fun to pull it out and play with Kayden. He loves Playdoh so it was perfect for him.

We got to spend some time with my grandparents and they got to finally meet Brooklyn. I always love hanging out with these two and they always teach me so much. I also LOVE my grandmas cooking and have to plan my stay around a meal or two. She can make anything taste good!

I built this track for Kayden one day when we were there. I thought it was my best yet so I had to take a picture.

It rained quit a bit while we were there so the first sunny day we got out and went miniature golfing. I thought Kayden would really like this because he loves to golf with Brock but after a few holes he was done. Oh well. He'll just have to stick to the real thing I guess.

Brooklyn also went for her first swing ride. She was so cute sitting in there and despite this picture she was smiling and cooing a lot.
