What we've been up too!

Life sure has been busy the last month with my two jobs but luckily they are both done with by January. Here is a little of what we have been up too...

I decided to make some play-doh for the boys one day while I was watching Hunter and Brayden. I let the boys pick their own colors and then they played for hours. They thought it was so fun. What a big hit! I just need to remember to pull it out more often.

Kayden loves to climb up on the counter. It drives me crazy but he loves to be very independent. I found him helping himself to a bagel and cream cheese one day half naked with a knife in hand. Yah we let our kids play with knives. Little stinker!!

I was called AGAIN to jury duty but this time in California. I am called there about two or three times a year. Its ridiculous! The papers get sent to my parents house and instead of them forwarding it back to them they write all over the envelope then send it my way so I have to deal with it. I have tried to get my name off the list for years (I haven't lived in California for 10 years). This time they told me that my name would eventually get off the list. I bet this won't be the last time though. I think it is pretty funny. I have been called for jury duty everywhere we have lived just about. I am a jury duty magnet!

Brock finally finished our deck a couple of weeks ago. We started this project over a year ago before Tyler was born, and because of all the events that occurred last summer we just never had the extra money to ever fix it. (it didn't help that most of the year was winter too) so Brock finally added a step and fixed a huge hole that was by the back door. He also stained it. It looks SO nice and we are so pleased with the finished product. Now we just need to make our backyard look a little more pleasing. Whenever Brock pulls out his toolbox Kayden is right behind him with his "tools". He loves to help. Even if his tools are made of plastic.

Brock also stained our swing set and of course Kayden wanted to help. He only lasted about 2 minutes until his hands were covered in stain!
