We had a long two weeks at the end of August when Tyler was in the hospital. This is such a big part of our lives I just had to post more pictures. Here is a run down of Tylers last hospital stay:
27 nurses
2 ENT doctors and several residents and students
2 Neurologist and several residents and students
2 EEGs
1 sleep study
13 nights....5 different locations
6 IVs
3 birthdays celebrated (two in the hospital)
4 PICU roommates

We started out here in the RTU. Tyler is having an EEG done and he got to wear that cool yellow tape all around his little head. He is a little wiggle worm and he worked that whole cap off in a couple of hours. His nurses kept having to tape it back on. This was the only night I stayed in the hospital...it was a long night with lights flashing, alarms beeping, an uncomfortable roll out bed and constant nurse care. It was here that we found out Tylers hospital stay was going to be a bit longer than we had hoped for!!
We celebrated Brocks birthday in the hospital during the day and then at night I made Brock a cake so he could at least have some candles to blow out. Brock had to bring his own gifts from home because I didn't pack them. He's a good sport and sacrafices so much for our little Tyler. He even had to miss his surprise birthday party!!
When Tylers sleep study was done we got moved to the ISMU but were only there for about 12 hours when they decided to move him into the PICU. Tyler spent the majority of his hospital stay here. The nurses were fabulous. Tyler got taken care of so good here.
On Tylers birthday his grandma and grandpa Ellis came to visit. We went out to lunch for Tyler and celebrated. As we looked back on our year we thought it funny that we started there at Primary Children's and one year later we were back again. Kayden loves to spend time with his grandparents and talked about them for days afterward.
Happy Birthday Big Boy!!
When Kayden came to visit this is where you could find him. Content watching a movie with his headphones on. He also likes to run the halls and play in the child life room. Every time we would leave the hospital he was always so concerned that Tyler wasn't coming with us. He is such a good big brother.
Spending time with the Coliannas
Kayden got to wear Addys pajamas because Daddy forgot to pack his. He was so excited.
Tyler was finally moved out of the PICU when he was off of high flow oxygen. We went back to the IMSU where we stayed a couple more days. During this time he had a sleep study done. We were SO excited when they told us he could go home!! On Tylers last day in the hospital my parents came to visit. They couldn't stay long because my dad had to catch a plane back home but we were glad they could come. My mom is doing school in Utah so we will get to see a lot more of Grandma before the semester is over.
The day after we got home I picked up two jobs, so we have been busy busy around our house. Luckily they both end by January.
