Florida

Brock had to go to Florida for a class for work and I was his tag a long for the week. Thanks to my awesome sister and brother in law I got to spend the week kid free. (thanks Bushlings!!) I dropped my kids off on Monday and then came home to an empty house for the night because Brock left a few days before I did. It was so weird and way too quiet around here! I flew out Tuesday morning. I got to spend a lot of time by the pool soakin' up the rays and reading a good book. Brock and I went shopping a few times and ate at some of our favorite restaurants. The awesome Hotel we stayed at had a boat ride out to this island. We decided to go exploring one afternoon. Wasn't the prettiest place but I love the sound of the waves and being on the beach so that was good enough for me.

This picture might be a little deceiving. I did most of the relaxing while Brock was away in class all day, but he did get a few minutes in this Hammock.

A few hours before our plane left we went to see the Harrison Ford and Thomas Edison Winter Estate. It was huge and we didn't have enough time to go around and see it (we didn't plan that one too good) but it was still neat to see. I loved this huge Banyon tree. This is a statue of Thomas Edison.

We had such a nice time and I absolutely loved the weather! I sure did miss my kids though. Thank goodness for awesome technology these days we got see them through skype and also through lots of pictures and videos.
