We decided one Saturday to go check out Lake Mead. It was only about a half hour drive. We had a lot of fun but dang it was hot. There is no shade there at all unless you bring your own. We swam for a few hours and them BBQ'd up some delicious dinner. It's so fun to go exploring in a new town!!

Brooklyn is such a chill happy baby. Even when circumstances are miserable she usually will give you a smile. I love that little open mouth cheeser smile!
I also love this girls chubby thighs! So cute.

The best part of the night were roasting mallows and eating smores. They sure were yummy!
We will definitely be revisiting the Lake again but maybe when it is a little cooler.

What a fun adventure! Sounds like the perfect combination of swimming, playing, and eating yummy things :) Too bad there aren't any trees to make things less hot...
