Two Months Old

Brooklyn was two months old on the 28th of February. I'm just a little slow in posting this.

Here is a little about our girl at two months old:

She is cooing and smiling more

She tracks and follows you around the room*

She LOVES to be held, rocked and her little bum patted

Still doesn't take the binkie (but I keep trying)

Sleeps a good 6 - 7 hour stretch at night

Starting to giggle

Loves to sit up and watch what is going on around her (we need a bumbo)

Likes her swing (but not for long)

Will smile at anyone who will give her attention

Has a hard time soothing herself

HAS to be rocked to sleep. She likes to be wrapped up tight

She will take your pinkie to suck on

Likes the bath

Loves to watch her brother and will give him lots of smiles and squeals

Her hair is getting long enough up front to put in a small ponytail

Appetite is increasing.

Holds her head up really well

Nickname is Bugsy (thanks Liz)

When grandma calls to talk to her she will stop crying and listen and smile

Was babysat by our friends the Atkinsons for the first time while Brock and I went out on a date. Since then she has spent quit a few afternoons and a night away from me.

Went for her first walk in the stroller and liked it even though it was a little cold and windy.

*Tyler never tracked us with his eyes so I forgot at what a young age babies can do this. When I figured out that Brooklyn could I got really excited and was so fascinated watching her watch me. One night I propped her up on my bed and I walked back and forth several times just to watch her track me. We definitely appreciate the little milestones she makes. We also are very more aware just how different and special Tyler was!
