Birthday Time

This year for my birthday I wanted to do something fun with the kids instead of sit inside the hotel all day. I looked up fun things to do in Vegas with kids and I found that the MGM Grand had a lion habitat exhibit. A few doors down from that was an M&M world, so that's just what we did. I think I am crazy for taking my two young kids onto the strip all by myself. We definitely stood out just a bit but we weren't the only young family out there. The Lion exhibit was pretty cool. The lion exhibit had Kayden's attention for all of about 10 minutes but it was fun to see. The M&M world was basically just 4 stories of souvenir shop but it was still fun to walk around and look at all the stuff. The strip is a very adult place so it was funny to me that we were pointing out the fire trucks passing and stopping to stare at the roller coaster. We went and got ice cream in one of the hotels and then spent the rest of the day at our hotel. We went out to my favorite for dinner...Olive Garden. It will be nice to live close to one of those again. I took some pictures of our adventures but I can't get them off my phone so once I do I will post them.
