This last week and a half has been filled with lots of fun Christmas activities. I had my last Dr. appointment on the 16th and raced home just in time to be at Kayden's school christmas party. Brock luckily took the day off so I didn't have to take Kayden with me to Utah and have the chance of him missing his party. It is nice to know he will not be missing any more school due to baby appointments. Kayden was upset at something when he walked in with Brock so he didn't want to participate in the program. Good thing MerLee is so good with him she got him to at least stand with his class. He didn't sing any of the songs or do any of the actions but he did introduce himself and say what he wanted for Christmas. He was pretty funny up there with such a grumpy face on. He got a little more excited about the activities after the party. The kids decorated gingerbread houses, ate a breakfast feast, and exchanged gifts.

I'm not sure who enjoyed the decorating more....Brock or Kayden?? (Brock put on that fancy roof)

Kayden got some new transformers from the gift exchange

Santa paid our home a little visit before Christmas. He rang the doorbell and Kayden got the door and ran away yelling "It's Santa". He wouldn't really go near him and was very shy around him. This is the closest he would sit. Santa brought him a new monster truck.

Kayden and I made sugar cookies one day and decorated them together.
kayden loves to use our camera and is getting pretty good at taking pictures. I really want to get him a kid digital camera so he doesn't brake another one of my cameras.

Kayden gets so bored inside all day so I gladly bundle him up and send him outside to play. He loves the snow and loves to play in it. I just wish I had a little more energy to go outside and play with him. If I tried one of these snow angels I would definitely be stuck on the ground!!
Christmas Eve Brock took Kayden out to shop. He told me he had to teach him how to shop like a man on the last day before Christmas. Later Kayden and I went to see Tangled with some friends. That night we enjoyed a yummy Christmas Eve dinner at the Smiths (thanks Brook and Jen) and then came home to open up Jammies. Kayden loved his new Dragon pajamas!

Christmas Day was fabulous. I love being able to stay home and spend the whole day with my family. I don't think theres any better place to spend Christmas than right at home. We opened gifts, played games, watched movies, and had a wonderful Christmas dinner just us. I cooked a little turkey and everything else was leftover from the night before so it was quick and easy and so good. I love when Kayden gets new toys because he is totally content just playing with them all day. The best part is when we get back from Utah in a week all his toys will be new again and he will enjoy playing with them all over again.
