Getting Closer

If you ask me how many days there are until Christmas I probably wouldn't have an answer for you but I do know how many days there are left until the day I have this baby. She is scheduled to come on the 28th of this month which is exactly 10 days away!! We are really excited around here! I had my last Dr. appointment on Thursday and they confirmed that I could have her then. I have to have an amnio done first thing that morning to see if her lungs are developed enough to come three weeks early. After my amnio we have to wait about three hours for the results to come back and then if everything is good I have a set time already for my C-section scheduled for later that day. I have had two baby showers (thanks Jen and Jen and all the CDC ladies!!) where Brooklyn got a lot of cute pink things. I have been busy cleaning things around my house that I know won't be touched for awhile after and I have one more thing to make before the big day. I am glad that I have had Christmas to also occupy my time which has come with a lot of fun parties and time spent with good friends. I am definitely at the uncomfortable and don't want to leave my house stage so I'm glad that won't last too much longer. I might go crazy next week with no preschool or playgroups so I am glad it is only a four day work week! I am looking forward to a week at home in my pj's playing with Kayden and probably watching lots of movies and preparing more for our little bundle of joy to arrive.
