Birthdays and pumpkins

Addy and Kayden's birthdays are exactly two months apart so we planned a joint birthday party for them this year. Usually Kayden and I have to go to Utah by ourselves for all of my appointments. We spent a few days there by ourselves swapping babysitting and doing lots of playing and then Brock had a Friday off so he caught a ride and met us there. Kris also took that Friday off so we headed on Tracks to the Discovery Gateway for the day. It's this fun childrens museum with lots of fun activities. The kids had a blast playing for hours. We even treated Kayden to a Happy Meal for lunch. We later had cake and ice cream and sang Happy Birthday to the both of them.

One of my favorite fall time activities is to go and pick pumpkins. We went to Wheeler Farm this year to find the perfect one. I was a little disappointed in the pumpkin patch which consisted of a bunch of pumpkins thrown onto the dirt. Wasn't much of a patch but it did and we found a nice lookin' pumpkin
