I think one of the worst things in the world is potty training. I really wish I could hire someone to come into my home and just do it for me. We have been potty training in our home now for what seems like forever. Its only been probably two or three months I'm not really keeping track. Kayden has the whole pee thing down...he goes on his own and does great during the day...night time is another story. And pooping is a whole other world that Kayden just can't seem to grasp the concept of. He just won't poop in the toilet. He poops in a pull up or his underwear....anywhere but the toilet. I have tried disciplining, spanking, time outs, treats, toys, taking away privileges, yelling, not saying anything, making him clean up his own messes and I can't think of anything else at the moment because I'm too frustrated. We were just at the library and he pooped his pants there. I was tempted to make him go home with nothing on. Social Services might have been called though because its really cold outside. What am I doing wrong??? If anyone has any bright ideas please share....I'm at my wits end and hate cleaning up poop out of underwear everyday. Please HELP!!

oh sarah! you aren't doing anything wrong! some kids, especially boys, are HARD to train! Spencer wasn't 100% until 6 weeks after Mac was born (so, over 3 yrs. old). Good luck and just keep doing what you are doing..hard, frustrating..yes. BUT SO WORTH IT!!
don't give up Zach was 3 years and 4 months and Trey was 3 years and 8 months when they were potty trained. Thinking about it they still have accidents! ha ha Hang in there it will happen.
You know Sarah, Motherhood is not for sissies. Potty Training is hard for some but just hang in there and he will get it eventually. Hopefully before he goes to school hahaha!!!
