Before Thanksgiving we had a few Thankful FHE's. We made ugly thankful turkeys (thanks for the idea Natalie....your turkeys turned out way better than our did.) It was fun to hear the things that Kayden was thankful for. (fingers was one of them)

The next week we invited some friends over to have another Thanksgiving FHE and we made puppet turkeys. It seemed like they were a good hit. Man it's hard to get three kids to all look at the camera at once. This was the best picture that I could get. Ashley was quit cooperative!

So I'm a little behind in posting about our Thanksgiving, but since we have been back we have been SO busy! Today has been my first day since I have been back without work or kids at my house (besides Sunday) and let me tell you it's been so nice. (I actually have two extra kids this afternoon but they are all sleeping at the moment so I decided to get caught up on my posts.) For Thanksgiving we went down to Altamont Utah which basically translates into the middle of nowhere. Every two years Brock's extended family reserves this huge cabin that can hold 90 people and let me tell you if there wasn't that many there then it sure felt like it. So many of his extended family and their families all came. It was a lot of fun. This is the third year that we have gone. We didn't get to leave until Thanksgiving morning because I had to work the night before. We got to the Cabin with about an hour to spare before dinner. We just played games and I did crafts with Brock's Aunts that night. On Friday Brock and Kayden went out skeet shooting with a bunch of family. I think Kayden really enjoyed being out with Brock. That night Kayden and Tyler had the throw ups which is no fun when you are around a bunch of family and stuck in a cabin. Poor little Tyler had it so bad he couldn't even keep water down. We had planned on going straight to Salt Lake on Saturday morning because Ty had more appointments the following week, but because the boys were sick we decided to come home for a day and a half, get better, then have a fresh start back to Utah on Monday. Tys appointments went good. This was the first time that Brock could come with us to appointments. I feel like I practically live at that Hospital and it was nice to kinda have Brock involved this time. We had to see his Ortho doc and ENT doc. Tyler had an x-ray done on his leg, and good news it is still straightening on its own. I love to see this doctor because it seems he is the only one with good news. The ENT did not clear Tyler for surgery...but we knew he wouldn't so Ty has to go back for another app. in January with a Pulminologist to see what he can do. That night I talked Brock into staying until dark to go to Temple Square to see the lights. It was freezing cold, but so beautiful. We made it home just in time for a huge snow blizzard. We had a great long Holiday week!!

I love this picture of Kayden. What a cutie

The boys freezing at Temple Square. We had Ty so bundled up you couldn't even see him. I think Kayden really cared less to be there. He was so tired from our long trip. He came with us to both of Tylers appointments and did amazingly well.

I think that is funny that only Ashlee is looking because she is usually the one who is so hard to take a picture of :)
