Tyler's first test

After I got home from camp I had a couple of hours to myself before I had to head to Utah for another appointment on Friday. Those few hours were heavenly let me just tell you. I got to shower by myself and take a long nap, and even get my hair cut and go shopping. I definitely took advantage of not having Kayden around. The drive to Salt Lake was even peaceful and relaxing. On Friday I had another Doctors appointment and this time they did a stress test on Tyler. They hooked me up to some monitors and had me sit in a huge comfortable recliner for an hour. I had to push a button for every time that I felt him move, and boy he passed that part of the test. He needed to at least move ten times, and I can't even tell you how many times I pushed that button. I should have just held it down the entire time. He was moving a little too much and was messing up the readings for the doctor. She was getting a little frustrated with him and even called him a stinker a couple of times. If he would have just cooperated I could have been out of there sooner. He passed the test though. If he hadn't passed the test then I would have had to take another different test, and if he didn't pass that one, then they would have taken me right over to delivery, and gotten him out. I am so glad that didn't happen. For one Brock was not with me, and for another....I just don't think I am ready. Ready to be done being pregnant, but not ready for another kid just yet. I am so grateful that I have such wonderful doctors and that I can deliver him in Salt Lake. The trips are much more frequent now and I am ready to be done with that part of it as well. It tires me out, and I think it takes a huge toll on Kayden too hafting to go back and forth. The appointments aren't getting any shorter either. My next appointment I have to have a stress test, an ultrasound, and a regular check up, so I am looking at at least 3 hours sitting in the hospital. I think we will all just be a little happier when he comes...I know our check book will be. It is so expensive to drive back and forth so frequently. We might need to start bringing baby clothes and a car seat with us every time we go, because you never know what might happen.....
