Last week I got a huge motivation from who knows where to paint my kitchen. I went and picked out paint samples (thats when Kayden fell out of the cart) and proudly came home to show them off. Brock helped me pick the color, and pick up the paint and then the kitchen consumed me for four days. My friend Amanda came over and helped me prime my walls and also gave me suggestions on where I should paint (She is a pro at this). From the first stroke of red paint i put on I absolutely loved it!! I finished it on Saturday afternoon, and I can't stop starring at it. I love my new red kitchen. It sure was difficult to paint with a one year old pulling on my legs, and there was a lot of snacks and Elmo watching in the process (thank goodness for Elmo), but I am so glad that I did it, and now I can move on to other parts of the house? Do you have any suggestions for a little boys room that already has safari theme?

It looks great! I've always liked red in the kitchen. Who knows when we'll get around to painting the walls!
AWESOME! I love it, love it, love it! Great job! As far as your little man's room..is it the same safari theme as Spencer's blanket? If so, go with the blue & red theme. Then you could blow up or get some animals that match the print and coordinate them around the room. Good luck!
