Our Stake held a 5k on Saturday and our family participated in it. I don't know why I have gone 30 years without doing one of these. It was a first for all of us. Brock, Kayden and Kevin (my sisters boyfriend) all ran it and they rocked it!! Kayden is so competitive. He wanted to win the whole thing! He rode on his scooter and Brock tried to keep up. The last little part was on grass & Kayden couldn't ride his bike on it so he picked it up and ran to the finish line. Melissa, Brooklyn & I just walked it. I told Brock next year I would run it with Kayden. I really wanted to run it this year but couldn't. It was still lots of fun though even though it was so HOT!!

 After the races they had 100 meter races for each of the age groups. Kayden ran in his & he came in first!! He got a little gold medal that he wore for two days! It was so fun to watch him run! I hope he does track or something when he is older because he is SO fast!
