It just so happens that we got free tickets to go to
LegoLand (We only had to pay for
Kayden's admission) and we had to use them the week before
Kayden's birthday so
thats pretty much what he got for his birthday this year. It was a lot of fun but I don't think we will ever be going back I wasn't too impressed with the park.
Kayden had fun though that' most important.
We stayed the first night in a hotel. Brooklyn got sick so I didn't think she would be up for
Legoland but all she needed was a good night sleep. She was feeling fine the next day.

The weather was perfect we couldn't have picked a better day to go and it wasn't busy at all. The longest we waited for a ride was about 20 minutes but that was really long compared to all the rest.

They had this cool building where you could go in and make your own race cars and then race them against others.
Kayden liked building his own, even though it didn't do too well on the race track

We let
Kayden pick out one toy while we were there and that was one of his birthday presents. He is so into dressing up so of course he picked a headband and a sword that straps on his back. He pretty much wore that for days.

After
Legoland we had planned to go camping. We went and set up camp went to bed and then cleaned up camp after breakfast the next morning. Wasn't too much camping and I don't know if we can call it Brooklyn's first. Our kids were so tired from being at
Legoland all day they slept beautifully! We camped right next to the ocean so after we cleaned up we went and hung out at the beach all day. It was a lot of fun just
hangin out together in the sand and sun!

The only picture I got of us camping....Brooklyn sitting in an empty tent. It's amazing to me that at the end of October we could still camp without freezing to death. Love it!

It was a really quick trip but lots of fun. We will
definitely be camping again next to the beach.
That's one of our favorite places to be!
