Fourth of July

We had yet another fabulous Fourth of July. Brock found out he had to work at the last minute so with the car already packed and the kids ready to go I couldn't stay home! The fourth is my favorite holiday, and it is best celebrated in Idaho. We got to go to the Idaho Falls parade which would have been a lot nicer had it been a little warmer. Then we had our annual picnic at the Taylor house later that night and then watched the fireworks from their backyard. Our night was complete with a yummy dinner and desserts, games, swimming, lots of playing with cousins, glow sticks and laughs. The only problem was that it was FREEZING which made the firework show a little uncomfortable. We were bundled in coats and blankets to stay warm. On Sunday we went to Pocatello to watch another awesome firework show. We got to sit in our car and had a great view. Since Brock wasn't with us we decided to stay a couple extra days. We got to go see Toy Story 3 and play more with cousins. We headed down to Utah a couple days later for a Dr. appointment and to spend time with family there. We had a fun week away, we just wish that Daddy could have joined us!!

Way to go taking a trip with two kids alone. I don't know if I would be able to do that. Just driving the 20 minutes to IF can drive me crazy. But it is always fun to see family.
