Kayden all of a sudden took an interest in guitars and started to ask to buy one several times a day for weeks. We decided we couldn't just go get him one because they were a little expensive, so Brock came up with a great idea where Kayden could earn one. He made up this chart for Kayden that had 20 squares in it. If Kayden could fill all 20 squares with stickers then he could get his guitar. Kayden had to do things like poop in the toilet (not his pants), clean up his toys without asking, eat all of his dinner, and stay in bed at night when it was bedtime. It took him awhile to earn it, but he did it. He was so excited to go to the music store and pick out his guitar. He loves it, and has surprisingly been taking really good care of it. Neither Brock nor I know how to play so it is never in tune. Hopefully Kayden will learn soon and we can hear some nice music out of it.

The other day Kayden saw an electric guitar on TV and told me he wanted to take his guitar back to the store so he could get that one. I guess we will have to make a new chart.
