Happy Birthday Kayden

Kayden celebrated his 3rd birthday today. He sure had an eventful day. He got to play with friends at playgroup, go to a fun ward Halloween party complete with trick or treating and then we came home and had a little party for him and opened up all his gifts. He was sure tuckered out after refusing to take a nap earlier in the day. I can't believe my little boy is three. He is such a wonderful kid, and such a great big brother. I hope this next year we will be able to get him potty trained!! (if it weren't for his cute stubbornness he would have already been potty trained).

Three things about Kayden

1. He LOVES anything with wheels particularly matchbox cars, motorcycles and trains. We let him pick out his own birthday present this year and it was a fun new train set. He has already played with it for hours.

2. Kayden loves to read. We go to the library every week for story time and he gets excited to pick out and bring home new books. He loves to curl up on your lap and read. It's one of my favorite parts of the day when I get to snuggle up with him and read a fun book.
3. He loves to follow Brock around and "help" him fix things. If daddy has tools out or is in the garage Kayden has to be right there with him helping.

Kayden a couple hours old. I had a really easy labor and delivery. He was 9lbs 3 oz. No small kid!!
