Little surprises

Tyler is full of little surprises all of the time. We thought we were coming to the hospital for a simple EEG only come to find out he needed his adenoids taken out....said and done, and we found out last night he needs more surgery. We are not sure what surgery yet Brock and I have a couple of really hard options to pick from. Tyler isn't coming home until all of this is taken care of...so a simple 24 hour stay is turning out to be a month stay. Tyler has had problems breathing for a long time and I am glad that it is finally being taken care of. I just wish that it didn't all happen this week. We spent Brock's birthday in the hospital and we will be spending Tyler's 1st birthday in the hospital. We will definitely be celebrating big when we get home. The nurses tell me that they do lots for kids whose birthdays are spent in the hospital, but personally I think the best place to celebrate is at home. I'm also sad that we are spending our last few warm summer days cooped up. I spend all day and a lot of the night by Tyler's bedside. We hope he can feel better soon so he can come home!!!
