I can't get one thing blogged before we do another, so I am a bit behind. We have been running full speed because our summer is soon over. Tyler has surgery two weeks from today, and we still have quit a bit to do before then, including two BIG birthdays to celebrate (Brock turns 30, and Tyler turns 1!!). A couple of weekends ago we had the opportunity to go to Denver with some friends. We had so much fun. We got to do so many different things. Brock had never been to Denver before so it was fun to show him around a little. Our weekend was full of a splash park, children's museum, old Chicago pizza restaurant, roasting smores, celebrating a birthday, hot tubing, visiting old friends and the big highlight going to a Rockies game and much more. We are so lucky to have such great friends!!! Thanks Will family for such a great weekend...we can't wait for the next adventure.

Kayden has always been a little scared of the splash park by our house so we were a little shocked when he ran around this one. He really enjoyed it, so we need to go try ours out again. We didn't have his swimsuit, but he didn't care. He went in with his clothes on.

They children's museum is awesome in Denver. Kayden is still talking about it today. They had lot of little activities for the kids to do. Kayden is learning how to shoot hoops here.

Tyler and Ashley decided to hang out with the bugs and wait for the birds to come back to their nest.

Caitlin and Kayden....not so sure what they are suppose to be...but non the less very cute all dressed up.

Kayden learned how to look at x-rays from a wise teacher who obviously know how to himself....

He had to learn how to best take care of his little dog

What a good little veterinarian

His favorite part was the fire engine. Could this be a possible future career for our little man??

The best part of the weekend was a night out without the kids (thanks Danica) to a Rockies game. We had great seats and even better company. It's too bad those darn Rockies didn't win, but it was a close fun game to watch.

What a great weekend. We hope to visit Colorado again soon.

That looks like so much fun. I've been to Denver and I don't remember it being that fun.
