Forth of July

We had a really fun weekend. Brock took off last Thursday so we could leave early in the morning for Idaho. We drove to Pocatello and spent the afternoon swimming at Ross Park. I had never been there before but it was great. They had a big splash pool area for kids, a big slide, a lazy river and a big pool. Kayden had a blast, we had a hard time getting him to leave. He really loves to go swimming. We had planned on going to Lava Hot Springs, but we had just as much fun at Ross Park. Even better we got to spend the day with Georjene and her kids and Grandma Ellis. Kayden always loves to go to his grandparents house to see the horses and especially to go on the 4wheeler or as he calls it the "ride". He would live on that thing if we let him. Brock is such a good dad to take him out for many rides. On Friday we went to the Zoo with cousins. It was pretty hot and Tyler didn't like that so much so he screamed a lot,but it was fun to see the animals. That night Brandons family had a campout in the backyard and we watched from the window. We roasted marshmallows and croissants and had a fun time hanging out around the fire. On the fourth we did a little shopping then headed over to Georjenes for dinner. We always watch the big Melaleuca fireworks from her backyard. This year they said over the radio that there were over 15,000 fireworks all within a half hour. Thanks Trent and Georjene for letting us come over. We just relaxed and enjoyed the evening and had a great time. Sunday we just relaxed and went to Sacrament. Monday Brock had to work in Salt Lake so we planned on going down there on Sunday night. Sunday morning I got a call from Melanie saying she was having her baby, so I was so excited we were going to her house that night, and that we were going to meet our new baby cousin. We stopped by the hospital on our way down and met Rebecca Brianne. Melanie really timed that right and we are glad for that. Monday Brock went to work and I stayed at Melanie's with Kayden, Addy and Tyler. Later on that night we got to stop and see baby again before heading home. We really had a great long weekend. I am so grateful for our independance, and for the opportunity I have to live in such a wonderful country.
