Oquirrh Mountain Temple

Brock and I have started to switch off and go to the temple every month with a couple in our ward. So far Brock has been the only one that has gone. We have taught Kayden about the temple and so desperately wants to go every time Brock has gone. (He doesn't think that I go to the temple...just daddy does. Its my turn this month so hopefully he will see that I go too). Well I found a great opportunity for Kayden to get to go to the temple with not only his daddy but the rest of us as well. On Saturday we went to the Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple with my sister and her family. Kayden was so excited to see the temple and to actually be able to go in. We had a great time and Kayden enjoyed stopping at all the pictures to look and them and talk about Jesus. When we got to the celestial room you could only walk in a little bit and then they had the rest roped off. That didn't stop Kayden and he ducked right under the rope and starting climbing the furniture with his shoes on. It was so embarrassing with everyone watching. We weren't sure whether to go after him of just quietly yell at him to come back. Luckily he only climbed over two nice chairs and then got close enough for Brock to grab him. Its hard to be mad at Kayden in such a beautiful celestial room. He stayed by us throughout the rest of the temple thank goodness. We had such a wonderfull time there and I am so glad that we got to teach Kayden a little bit more about temples. Our only concern now is that he might think that he can go into the temple all of the time now, and especially go with his daddy. Only 10 more years and he can!!!
