Easter

I still don't have a camera so I have to take pictures of my kids (and their friends) on my phone so the quality isn't that great, and I don't take very many. (sorry Amanda this is all that i have). On Friday night for our date night group we were in charge of the kids. I thought since it was almost Easter we would decorate eggs. We only had three other kids besides Kayden so I thought the mess wouldn't be too big right...I could handle it! (Cawas didn't participate anyway he was a little too tired). Well it went great until some started to drink the dye and eat the stickers and the eggs with the shell still on. Kayden and Milan were the younger of the three and I don't think they really got the point of decorating the eggs but it was fun anyway. Camden really enjoyed it and she did great. After that we decorated and ate sugar cookies and had a yummy treat. It was fun to mix up the night a little and do something different. Brock was in charge of Cawas and Tyler and he put them both to sleep.

On Sunday we went to church then had a couple of families over for dinner. The weather was nice outside so the kids got to go out in the back. The Easter Bunny found Kayden before church and brought him a basket full of sidewalk chalk, paints and a fun new car (thanks grandma Ellis). We didn't do an Easter egg hunt with him, he just got eggs in his basket with just a little bit of candy. Kayden got to do an Easter egg hunt at a nursery party so I figured that was probably good enough. Maybe next year he will be into it a bit more so we can do one.
