A few days before Tyler had his surgery I took the boys in to get their pictures taken. (I am glad I did now because Tylers head doesn't look like this anymore). It was the most embarrassing thing I have done in a long time. My kids cried, and were not cooperative, and we hardly got any pictures at all. The people taking their pictures I could tell were very frustrated with Kayden, and they tried to get Tyler to smile...I kept telling them that Tyler doesn't smile on command, but they just didn't get it. The woman and her son that went after us were watching and when it was their turn (after JcPenny had given up on my kids) she said loudly so I could hear..."My son will be really cooperative and we can be done in a couple of minutes". Thanks lady. I wanted to cry and never come back. Her son was about 8, so I would expect him to cooperate. The good thing about all of this was that it was really easy to pick out my pictures at the end and I didn't spend a lot of money. I will just put on my wall my "true kids". Here they are in all of their glory.
The only way Kayden would sort of cooperate is if he was playing with this train. Most of the pictures they got were of him looking down or of his back
This is the ONLY picture they got of the two boys together. Kayden would not get his darn hand down.

Some people just bug me. That would be how I describe the lady that went after you...BTW, the pictures of Spencer were a long time coming, especially after our last experience (he was 1)!! It was HORRIBLE and he cried the entire time and I am actually HOLDING him in the pictures (I'm the one under the sheet)it was just plain bad! BUT, I think as he has gotten older, and he was BY himself (not with Livi) and Luke was there..that helped a lot! The pictures of your boys are adorable and exactly how they should be..true to life!
I think your pictures turned out GREAT! Sorry it was such a tough experience.
