Our little Tyler is two months old today.
Brock had Monday off from work in observance of Verterans Day so we decided to leave right after church on Sunday and go see Tyler. We left Kayden with Amanda again because he loves to play with Milan. It is so nice to go down to Salt Lake and only focus on Tyler, and spend as much time as we want to at the Hospital. When we got to the hospital Sunday afternoon we found out that his nurses just happen to forget to tell us that his shunt would be put back in on Monday morning. We were SO excited. This is one big step for him to come home. The surgery went really well, and the shunt is working. We also set up a care conference on Monday afternoon to meet with the doctors and social worker to finally get some questions answered. It was so nice to sit down with them and talk. Tyler has 17 more days of antibiotics for his infection, and we are hoping and praying that we can take him home before that. The doctors are considering letting us go home with the antibiotics. So things are looking up....Here are some pictures I never got around to posting. He looks a lot better now, and doesn't have any tubes on his face.
