Chicken Pox...???

So yesterday morning i noticed little red dots appearing on Kayden all over his body, and a huge red spot on his leg. He didn't seem bothered by them at all. A little worried I of course called my mom, and then the doctor only to get the answering machine. I left a message explaining what i was seeing and wondering if i needed to bring him in. A nurse called me back to say to bring him in just in case, because there are so many types of rashes it is hard for them to tell exactly over the phone what is wrong without seeing him. So in we go to the doctors (the third time in 2 weeks mind you) and they took a little look. To make a long story short the doctor couldn't really give me any answers. He said the big red spot could be a spider bite, and the little dots just a reaction to the bite, or it could be Chicken Pox!!! Yikes!! (but he really didn't think so because the dots didn't look like it) Now where in the world would he have gotten those from, he rarely is ever around any other kids?? So now this morning we are in a little bit of a dilemma...Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and we have huge plans this year to go to Utah with all of Brock's extended family and stay in a really nice cabin for 3 days. Now the big question is do we go??? If we don't get to go I really must learn how to cook a turkey!!!
