I love Christmas Eve at the Ellis house. First we have out big dinner and it usually is done by candlelit but with so many kids this year we just had the lights on. Then we do our nativity. Kayden was a wise man & Brooklyn was going to be Mary but threw a fit when we put on the costume so she just watched. Kenly has a little cousin who is 2 months younger so we had to have "tryouts" for baby Jesus & Kenly just didn't cut it so Ema got to be baby Jesus. Its always a little crazy but always fun to do the nativity.

After we do the Nativity Grandpa always reads a Christmas story to all of us. Then we sing some Christmas songs.
We then open up cousin gifts. Every year the cousins draw names and get each other gifts. We opened up gifts youngest to oldest this year. Brooklyn & Kenly got matching hats.
Neither of the girls were too excited about wearing them
so we had daddy wear it instead

We then did our annual Rudolph sighting out in the hay field and all the kids then hurry and go to bed to await Santas arrival. This year after the little kids were done all the adults played a white elephant game. It was so much fun and there were some crazy gifts passed around. I of course didn't get pictures of either events!
