We had a fun memorial weekend. I made sure to plan a few activities so we weren't sitting around wishing we were out doing something. On Saturday we went on a little hike in Red Rock Canyon. Kayden kept saying that all he wanted to do was climb rocks, so we definitely let him do a lot of that. We did a short hike that has a waterfall in the spring & although it didn't have any water this time there were lots of places to explore and plenty of rocks to climb. The hike only took us about 40 minutes round trip and it was super easy for the kids. Next time I think we will try for a little longer one though because it just wasn't enough of a hike for me.

On our way back Brock said he could hear Brooklyn sucking on something and wondered what in the world she could possibly have in her mouth. She found a little piece of her carrier to suck on, and she sucked away on it for a long time. She never took a binky as a baby but this could have served as one because I know she was super tired by this point of the day.
On Monday we went swimming. Kayden was in heaven he loves to swim!! It;s hard to get him to leave the pool. Brooklyn is also a little fish and quit enjoyed herself too even though she was shivering half of the time.

What a fun weekend! Brooklyn is getting so big and she is absolutely adorable!!! I laughed at Kayden's wish to 'climb rocks" :)
