Five Years Ago...

This cute boy entered our lives. To say this boy was excited to turn five was an understatement. We have been counting down the days for a long time. He had a great day...got sung to in Primary, requested hot dogs and chips for dinner, watched a movie with Dad, and got a brand new two wheel scooter just like his friend Gabe. Kayden also got to celebrate his birthday at Legoland which will have to be a whole other post in itself. We sure love him and are so glad that he in our family. I hope this next year will be awesome for him and that he can enjoy every minute of being 5.

Some facts about my Kayden....
Kayden LOVES dress ups. He is in them ALL day long everyday. Right now he is into the superheros and ninjas and karate kids. He has lots of costumes so he is constantly changing into all of them all day long. I don't think that with Halloween ending tomorrow will end his dressing up. I love to watch him get so excited about something.
Kayden is learning how to read. He knows all of his letters and their sounds and can sound out small words. It amazes me how fast he is learning. I can't take any of the credit because he rarely likes to sit and learn from me, but his preschool teacher is great and has sparked that interest in him that I've tried for so long to get started. Kayden can also write his name.
Kayden is a great big brother. I love to watch him and Brooklyn interact. He can always get her to smile with his goofy self. Kayden is also really good at making friends. He'll meet someone at the park and then talk about that friend for a long time afterwards stating he wants to play with them again.
Kayden is a picky eater. I can probably count on one hand all that he will eat. It's a fight I hate fighting every day. He has recently liked again corn dogs and hot dogs. Even though this kids is picky he sure does LOVE his sugar and is constantly asking for treats. He will eat one bite of a meal and think that he deserves a treat.

Loves to ride his bike and go for walks
Loves his cousins
Is a Grandpa's boy & loves those 4 wheeler rides with him
