Valley of Fire

Brock's parents came for a visit a couple weekends ago and we decided to take them to the Valley of Fire state park. It is only about a 40 minute drive from our house. We took a picnic lunch and had a great day. The park is called valley of fire because all of the rock formations are bright red and look like they are on fire. It was really neat to see. You just drive around to all the different rocks. It was nice to spend the whole day together.

We stopped by the temple on the way back and then we went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. It was so fun to have Grandpa and Grandma come visit. Thanks for making the trip!

We left bright and early the next morning (4:30am) to make it to our nephew Kaleb's blessing up in Sandy Utah. We were sorry to leave Grandma and Grandpa to fend for themselves at our house until they flew back to Idaho on Monday morning. We had a quick but nice trip in Utah and were glad that we could support the Colianna's on Kaleb's special day.
