We decided since we didn't have any plans over Labor Day weekend we would go for a day trip hiking in Lander with Ruth and Steve. We originally wanted to go camping but quickly remembered thats when the rest of the world goes camping too. We enjoyed a fun day of hiking, picnicking, feeding the fish, looking at the lake (it was way too cold to swim) and then enjoying a yummy pizza meal out. It was so fun to explore somewhere we had never been and let Ruth and Steve be our guide.
Kayden did amazingly well for a first time hiker. He did have to hitch a ride for the tail end of the hike. He never one complained.
Ruth told us about this fun little pool with a rock that you could slide down into it. Ruth was the only brave one out of our bunch. It was fun to watch her. She is crazy because that water is FREEZING!! The rest of us only put out toes in.

How pretty!! That would be a fun hike. You are amazing. I'm pretty sure I would be too much of a baby and stay at home with my feet up.
