It's so nice to live only 2 1/2 hours away from Salt Lake, we like to do day trips there. Last Saturday we decided to go and find some chairs, and find summer clothes for Kayden and I. The day started out great, thank goodness for portable DVD players, or else day trips would probably be out of the question. We stopped by my sisters house and then we all went to RC Willey. Since we found chairs so fast we decided to go get sandwiches and go to the park for a picnic before Melanie had to go to work. The weather was SO nice. I love having picnics in the summertime. The kids really enjoyed running around together, and eating chocolate chip cookies. After we ate we said our goodbyes and headed out towards the airport to pick up our chairs. Once we fit (barely fit) those into the car we decided we had some extra time before heading home so we went to temple square and walked around. The flowers there are gorgeous and all blooming this time of year. It was fun to see so many pretty brides walking around too. We then got to enjoy a delicious meal at Red Lobster. I don't like seafood at all and I thought this could be a problem with all the fishy smells inside and being pregnant, but it worked out. The Olive Garden next door had too long of a wait so I decided to try something new. Our meal was fabulous and the service there was great. On our way home we stopped and shopped at the outlet mall in Park City. Unfortunately I couldn't find anything, but Kayden got a few summer outfits. It was a really fun day, and it was great to see my sister and her family.
